How do I order?
Order your desserts by clicking on “order now” on the home page and select the items you would like to pick-up. Add the item to your cart, then click on the cart icon at the top right of the page. Review your item or items and then select the checkout button. Enter your email, select what Friday you would like, then enter your payment. You will receive a confirmation e-mail. You must place your order by Tuesday prior to 5:00PM for same week pick-ups. For example, if you are wanting to pick-up Friday, September 1st you must place your order by Tuesday, August 29th prior to 5:00PM. Also note that the first Friday of every month we will have flavor changes for both our cookies and cakes.
What if an item I select says “out of stock/sold out?”
At Dessert Doc, we are a one woman show and can only accommodate a certain number of orders per week. If a section is out of stock, we recommend taking a look at a different Friday available to pick up your tasty treat.
What flavors can I order?
We have staple cakes and cookies that are available year round including: Chocolate Chip Cookie, Double Chocolate Chip Cookie, Pecan Pie Cookie, Ernie’s Pup Cookie, Chocolate Cake, and Vanilla Cake.
In addition to the staples, we have rotating cookie and cake flavors that change monthly. The flavors will change the first Friday of every month. The “sneak peek” section at the top will provide next months flavors for your viewing.
Do you ship?
Unfortunately, no. We require you to pick up your order at the address listed on our website. Pickup days are every Friday from 7:00AM-9:30AM. Please arrive at the front door of the house and the home baker will greet you and provide you with your item or items.
Are your items allergy friendly?
Unfortunately, no. Our cookies and cakes contain or are processed near: milk, tree-nuts, sesame, soy, wheat, egg, peanuts.
How should I store my items?
Cookies: Our cookies are individually packaged and then boxed. They remain fresh for up to a week, but it is highly recommended to consume within the first couple of days. They are very freezer friendly! Keep them up to 3 months in the freezer. When ready to eat, allow them to come to room temperature and enjoy!
Cakes: Our cakes are boxed and need to be stored in the refrigerator. Let the cake sit out for 2 hours in order for it to come to room temperature before consuming for best flavor. Cakes expire after 7 days.
